Six years ago I created Gray Lane Yoga, a place to offer up all that I am. A beacon for those searching for more Joy. A permission slip for myself to share love with the world. Now, it can finally become what I always dreamed it could be!

My classes are more than moving your body, they're focus is on your whole being: mind, body and heart. So as always, I will sprinkle every session with positive affirmations and silly sound effects in hopes to ignite the spark within that whispers, "Be the light."

Beginner's Yoga Instructor

My yoga journey began about fifteen years ago. It was me, my mat, and some videos in my living room. It was a very sporadic bumpy journey. I never consistently practiced. I would practice and  gain ground. Then I would get discouraged and stuck feeling. 

Then one fall evening I gathered up all of my courage my favorite leggings and I stepped out of my comfort zone and into my first live class. There I found the elements that were missing from my practice. I was missing the fine tuned instructions from someone who was seeing me and how I needed to tweak my poses. I was also missing the camaraderie you get from a group of like minded souls moving, breathing, and sweating together. I was forever changed. I was now a yogi. I had to learn more, practice more, breath more.

Two years after that first live class I decided to take my 200 hour teacher trading at Balance School of Yoga in Cedar Falls. My purpose in my instruction is to provide safe yoga for every BODY. There is no mold for what the perfect yogi looks like. Yoga is about you and what you bring to your mat. I want to guide you on your journey.
